There's nothing more fulfilling to me than watching parents be "born" and welcoming a new baby into the world. And into Alaska! Pregnancy and birth is so amazing and beautiful... I love being a part of such a miraculous event!


I joined this website because:

I wanted to be more in touch with the doula community and needed to let expecting parents know that I'm here, I'm available, and I'm ready to join your birth team!

My Birth Experiences:
Other than my own two births, (see below), I've also had the honor to attend 10 different and unique births in our community including:an unmedicated home birth, a hospital birth with an epidural and pitocin, a successful vbac, a hospital unmedicated and low intervention hypno birth, an unplanned c-section, and most recently a very eventful birth of a third brother who apparently couldn't wait to meet his family. All were just spectacular and amazing experiences that only made me realize my passion for labor and birth even more. Some births were fast (an hour for one!) and some were a little bit longer (56+ hours) but each one was unique in it's beauty. What a lucky mama and doula am I to have been a part of them.
