Hi! My name is Cathy White! I have been serving women since 1988, and in 1991 I took the step of becoming officially certified. My births were not a-typical, and perhaps because of that, it has been a desire to help that be possible for women. We each take a different path to motherhood, and my joy is to make it the best possible experience. Within the last couple of years, I have moved into the field of also helping with post-partum doula work. as well as lactaction counseling. Not every doula is for every woman, but every woman deserves a doula!!! I have two birth children (ages 8 and 12), a step-daughter (age 26)m who has given me a grandaughter, and 2 former foster children I consider my own (they call me collect, so that must mean they're mine!)
